The actual measurements are as follows: Bust: 17 inches across, underarm to underarm (34 inches around) Shoulders: 15.5 inches across, seam to seam Natural Waist: 14 inches across (28 inches around, measured at the narrowest part of the dress) Drop Waist: 14.75 inches across (29.5 inches around, measured at the seam between the bodice and skirt) Hips: 20 inches across (40 inches around) Length: 45 inches Note: These are the actual measurements of the garment, so please leave yourself room for comfort of movement. All measurements were taken with the item laying flat. The flat measurements were doubled to give an approximate measurement around. DESCRIPTION This is a gorgeous prom gown from the 1980s that was made in the USA by Gunne Sax by Jessica McClintock. The material is made out of a dark cobalt blue rayon velvet, and it is trimmed in white lace. The lace is angled in a way that makes the dress look a little like it has a bolero jacket, but this is all one piece. The dress has short sleeves that puff out a little at the shoulders. The dress has a drop waist, and the skirt has a walking slit in the back. The dress closes with a zipper down the back. CONDITION This dress is in excellent vintage condition.
