Description: The Other Ball Business Card - A Real Find! Owners Locker and Coleman had a bar and restaurant featuring nude entertainment, commonly known as "The Other Ball," located at 825 East Valley Boulevard, San Gabriel, California. Said owners held a city business license issued by the City of San Gabriel for the year 1980. In addition, the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (A.B.C.) had issued said appellants an on-sale license to sell alcoholic beverages [149 Cal.App.3d Supp. 5] on the foregoing premises for the period January 1, 1980, to and including December 31, 1980. Guinn was a bartender at the establishment. Locker and Joyce M. Locker were owners of a nightclub in Santa Monica, known as The Ball. Said bar was occasionally occupied by various and assorted guests from the Hollywood area (not to mention a handful of young ones trying out the disguises of being over twenty-one. Those who visited still comment on their experiences today. Found this comment online about The Other Ball: "...It was an upscale men's restaurant with very pretty waitresses missing blouses from their green jumpers. ..and young ladies would walk the runway wearing scantily clad costumes..."
