Description: For sale, a 'ROBERT HOPPE, A Chorus Line' lithograph. It is hand-signed in pencil by the artist on the lower right. It is also hand-numbered on the lower left in pencil. Additionally, it is Embossed "Mirage Editions" in the same left lower corner. The paper media measures 35 & 3/4" x 25", with the lithographed image at 21" X 31.25". The colors remain deep, rich and vibrant. There is some humidity rust here and there resulting from close proximity display to uneven humidity environment, but nothing egregious mind you. When the subtle humidity was discovered, the image was immediately de-framed, allowed to lay for a week and subsequently loose-rolled for storage. We've photographed the lithograph in a way that expresses the rust it in the worst possible light. Framed, displayed and viewed at the appropriate distance for an artwork of this size, the rust spots are barely visible and only if ardently sought. This is truly a wonderful example of a rare limited run of Robert Hoppe art. It will ship rolled unless otherwise directed by the buyer. The slightly higher than normal shipping costs reflects the required insurance for full purchase price.
