Description: A Jacobi & Co Repousse 925 Sterling Silver Heart Trinket Box with removable red velvet interior. Absolutely lovely! In excellent condition - please see pictures. I see only one very slight dent which is hardly noticeable - I only noticed it because I was looking for anything to note for the listing. Please see the picture with the pencil pointing to it. Marked on the bottom, and also has a monogram on the bottom - I believe it’s “MHG” but I can’t make out the intricate scrollwork. Box measures approx 3 3/4” wide at the widest point x 3 3/4” wide at longest point x 1 3/4” deep. It weighs approx 5.2 ounces/145 grams without the velvet. UPDATE: a lovely and knowledgeable eBay member told me this box is normally used as a pin cushion. You would just need to go to your local upholsterer to create the heart pouf that would go inside. I love that! Lovely piece! Priced to sell!
