Description: A Shelley Art Deco "Bands & Lines" 12130 Regent shape demitasse cup & saucer. C.1933. Pattern No 12130: Shades of fawn and yellow bands and lines on a white ground. Yellow ring handle and trim. Entered into pattern book during or after 1933. The shape of this cup and saucer is the Regent shape which was produced between 1930 and 1962. The back stamp is the 1925-1940 green cartouche mark. Dimensions: demitasse cup base 39mm (1.5 inches) / diameter across top of cup 73mm (2.9 inches) / height of cup 60mm (2.4 inches) / diameter of saucer 120mm (4.75 inches). Condition: Both pieces are in very good clean condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, scratching or rubbing. Paintwork is all in good order with no fading to the pattern. Both pieces have a very good "ping" to them when lightly tapped.
