A Wonderful Seated Laughing Buddha with With Five Babies

Description: A wonderful ceramic laughing seated Buddha with five babies. The statue appears to be hand painted and the colors remain bright and true. The whole figurine is in a glossy glaze, except for the flesh of the Buddha, which is in a matte glaze. The Buddha comes from the estate of a China born U.S. resident who traveled back to China frequently and received mail orders from China regularly. The Buddha measures approximately 6 1/4" tall, 8" wide and 5 1/2" deep. The condition of the Buddha is excellent, appearing to have only been used lightly for display, with no cracks, chips, scratches or crazing.
