(not sure on the period), couple Asian motif instruments statue / statuette / figure / sculpture . Most Backer figures seem to be listed as chalk ware / chalkware , but these two are QUITE heavy. I personally wouldn’t expect chalkware to ever weigh so much. Pottery ? / ceramic ? / porcelain ? —I’m not sure of the exact makeup. This listing includes the two statues in the photos. Felt bottom on the statues, with one that has a company sticker on it stating that they are hand painted . The male figure appears to be just over 14 inches in height and the female figure, just over 13 inches. Some what I would call minor chips and wear from age and use are present. I have gone through some archives of past sales and it seems this particular pair of models very rarely comes up for sale. I have a number of other photos of these two statues. If you would like any other photos, I can surely send them to you through messages here, but you’ll have to ask—otherwise, how would I know? For the photos, I did not adjust any color, saturation, contrast, lightness/darkness, etc. levels/settings before or after they were taken. I, the seller, will not be held responsible for damage to the package/packaging/item(s) within that may be incurred after I hand it/them over to USPS for shipment. 13. Shipping for these item(s) will include delivery confirmation/tracking details from USPS. In the event that USPS loses your package, your money will be refunded to you through PayPal. I, however, will be the one purchasing insurance through USPS to cover my own loss in the event that USPS loses your package--I reserve the right therefore to submit a claim to USPS on my own behalf, and any insurance paid out to me by USPS will be kept by me to cover the refund to you through PayPal. 14.
