Description: Fresh from a Northwest Arkansas estate is this small CUT GLASS FLOWER CENTER, signed on the underside: J. HOARE & CO, CORNING 1853. The flower center stands 5" tall and measures 6" across the base. The top of the flower center has 10 'cut or step-down' rings. The body of the vase has starbursts, diamonds, and fans in an intricate pattern. The base shows appropriate wear from its 100--plus years of sitting on a shelf. The top has three (3) chigger bites---not 'glaring' but obvious on close inspection. MAGNIFICENT CUTTING on the blank of this J. HOARE flower center. I will bubble wrap and box carefully for shipping.
