Description: Up for sale is a vintage green wooden handled roller pull thorough knife sharpener. It was invented by George Jones whose patent #1566140 was approved on December 15, 1925. The patent category was as follows: Hand tools or other devices for non-rotary grinding, polishing, or stropping specially designed for sharpening cutting edges of knives; of razors with sharpening elements in interengaging or in mutual contact the elements being rotatable It was made in the USA by the Ace Manufacturing Co of Philadelphia. It measures approximately 7" in length. It is in good used functional condition and would be great for display in a vintage country farmhouse kitchen display. I think it would be better for display than for use with actual food items, since there is rust involved. Please see photographs or use the Ebay magnifying feature if that is available to you for an accurate depiction of the condition of this item. There may be something that is important to you, but not obvious to us. Don't hesitate to ask questions, should you have any prior to purchase. I do combine or refund shipping for multiple purchases. I will be listing other green handled utensils shortly and will be glad to combine shipping. If this item is of interest, please check out my store for other similar interesting items. Economy shipping will be an additional $5.50.
