Marked on the reverse Columbia Adams & Sons. Adams & Sons is listed in the Encyclopedia of Marks book as circa 1829 to 1863, but this plate is likely 1840s. Has crazing typical of ironstone, staining of the type that may soak out, and a stacking flake to the edge. Otherwise good condition with no post manufacture chips or cracks. Measures approximately 8 5/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
