Description: 1 pc, Adjustable scale kit for Hud-son Oscar 18 sawmill. Custom designed and machined by a long time Hud-son owner that always wanted a scale that could be "zeroed" after that last skim cut, just before you start cutting boards. No need to remember where you were on the traditional scale each time. Just zero once and then continue on to the next dot after each cut. These kits will be made to order so allow up to 4 weeks for shipment.Each scale can be made with 2 different increments, one each side. Just tell me what you desire and how much extra to allow for kerf. Each kit will include:One custom scale with 2 different increments.Adjustment knobCustom mounting bolt and associated hardware. Extra scales available at $60.00 each.In order to install, all you will need to do is drill one hole in the existing 1.5" angle iron bracket. Minor adjustment of the clear plastic piece that has the red line on it may also be needed.Note that the first 3 pictures are of the kit already installed on a mill. The last 3 pictures are of the parts you will actually receive.If you have a different Hud-son mill that uses a similar factory scale design like on my Oscar 18, this will likely work on it. Look closely at the pictures to see. The length of the scale will probably be longer which is easy to accommodate. Just let me know and I can quote you. As stated above, these are custom made therefore returns are not accepted. Make sure and ask questions before you purchase to avoid both of us being unhappy later on. When you purchase please provide:1. What spacing you want on the graduations. (2 reqd.)2. To allow for blade kerf and a little extra for shrinkage, I add .10" to the nominal spacing. For example, if you desire 4/4 (1") the actual spacing between the graduations is 1.10". If you want something different, please advise.
