The unit will also run 4 AA batteries as well. The flash can also be rotated 90 degrees at the hot shoe for vertical or horizontal flash head position. The unit has both 110V and 220V settings for its AC operation. With 400 ASA/ISO type film you could shoot up to appx 30-35 feet at F2.8. Good output for a small flash. Batteries are NOT included with the unit.
