Attractive antiquarian full leather binding, smooth spine, gilt title lettering. Poor physical condition internally, old damp staining throughout. Volume 2 of a larger work. Contents of this volume complete unto themselves. Book is physically old and shows some signs of handling and time. Binding well age worn but still appealing, leather and joints slightly scuffed and rubbed but still supple, boards slightly bowed, extensive sometimes heavy old damp staining with tide marks, many plates stained, remains overall very attractive as an object. Book opens to title page. The pics show this all. Still attractive on the shelf. Book displays a unique age patina and is in rather nice antiquarian condition, any age flaws seem easy to overlook or forgive.
