Description: Vintage Advertising Stoneware Monmouth-Western Rolling Pin Blue Banded ERNEST NELSON - Sheldon, IL Vintage (circa 1923-1924) advertising stoneware rare triple blue banded with blue lettering rolling pin made by Western Stoneware Company located in Monmouth, Illinois for Ernest Nelson in Sheldon, Illinois. 3 Line Advertisement Reads: ERNEST NELSON SELLS THE FLOUR THAT MAKES THE DOUGH HUMP Condition: In very good condition with some minor flaws one edge of the rolling pin. One edge has an old chip and some glaze pops (see pictures). No cracks, crazing or repairs. If there are any other flaws such as glaze/paint skips, they are natural from the making.
