In front of the design many of stands of undyed yarn are also hung from the rafters. The women sit on stools in front of the hanging strands of different colored yarns (each wrapped around a piece of wood) and weave the pattern through the hanging stands following the design on the paper hanging behind. At the top they make several loops so that the final product can be hung on a wall to be displayed. There are several co-ops and job creation programs which each do their own intricate designs.
