Description: This is a Large two-piece African Violet Self-watering Flower Pot. It comes with an inner and outer pot. The outer pot is about 6.75" wide, and about 4.75" tall. The outer pot is where the water is placed. The inner pot is tapered, and measures about 3.75" diameter at the bottom, and about 5.25" near the top; and is about 5" tall. The inner pot should be glazed only at or near the top. This allows the water to seep through the dry bisque and into the soil. The plant and soil are placed in the inner pot. The two pots when together, are about 5.5" tall.Any pictures shown are examples only. You will receive UNPAINTED, WHITE, ceramic bisque. Please allow 10 days for production.Custom order and quantities - please email me for custom orders, or quantities greater than one. These often require a box larger than 1 cubic foot, which means a higher rate for the box size - regardless of minor increases in weight. The increased weight and size will likely result in shipment by UPS Ground.DAMAGED PIECES: Due to the increased rate of damage done by various carriers; and the recent denials of claims for damages, we will not file claims for damaged pieces. If item arrives damaged customers must submit a claim to the proper shipping company. Be aware that some carriers require that photos be provided of the box with the packing materials and item still in the box. **PLEASE HOLD ONTO DAMAGED PIECES, BOX AND SHIPPING MATERIAL. THE CARRIER MAY NOT REIMBURSE FOR THE DAMAGES WITHOUT INSPECTION FIRST. ** Refunds will not be given for damaged pieces. Please allow 10 days for production. Ceramics are easy to paint for all ages. Painting Ceramics is similar to coloring, except you use a paint brush instead of a crayon! Acrylic paints can be purchased in stores such as Walmart, or JoAnn Fabric and Craft, or other craft stores. They are easy to use and easy to clean up, most paints and some acrylics clean up with warm water and soap; however some acrylics will need to be cleaned with brush cleaner. All my pieces have been fired (cone 03/04),and do not need to be fired in a kiln again, if painted with acrylics. If you have access to a kiln, pieces can be painted with ceramic glazes and/or underglazes, and fired again (cone 05/06).
