Description: A set of 3 complimentary Zulu herb containers/baskets with lids. All 3 have the zig-zag pattern and are in tan,brown, black colors. Each was hand woven from llala Palm using natural dyes by the Zulu tribe in the KwaZulu-Natal Province of South Africa. The brown & black colors come from using tree roots, crushed and boiled for many days. Included are: 1) mini Isichumo, bottle shaped with a lid that fits over the neck like a cap. The lid is black. 5.5" tall. 2) Ukhambo, bulb shaped container with an attached lid. 4.5" tall x 4.5" diameter. 3) A 5.5" tall herb container with lid. All 3 were purchased at a craft market in South Africa between 2008-2010 and never used. One original tag is included which describes the use of herb containers.
