The new Clarion scopes were meticulously designed to solve one of the biggest problems many night hunters face, which is selecting which lens size or sensor configuration will provide the optical base magnification and field of view for each hunter’s primary application. The Clarion alleviates this concern by incorporating a dual-lens optical system that can mechanically alternate between a 25mm or 50mm lens. This feature alters the base magnification and field of view with no degradation of the image resolution. Versatile Lens Options With the Clarion 384, Night Hunters can now use the benefits of a 25mm lens with a base magnification of 2x and a wider FOV (10.5 x 7.9 degrees or 53 feet at 100 yards) and then quickly switch to a 50mm lens with a base magnification of 4.5x and a narrower FOV (5.3 x 4.0 degrees or 27 feet at 100 yards) to make sure your identification and shot placement is on point.
