Description: This Akai 4000DS MKII records and plays back, but I am selling it as parts or repair be cause the track knob that chooses between the 4 tracks is finicky, and I just have to many other machines on my bench. I did a standard service and added new vinyl veneer. It is in fantastic condition, it records, and plays back.. but I cannot guarantee the true working state of this machine.
