Description: This is a phenomenal antique print is from a portfolio of quality collotype prints published in 1914 or near to that time. It depicts several views of big game hunting in Alaska. Shown is a polar bear lassoed in the Behring Sea, a moose near Sweard, and a black bear (and hunter) on the Kenai Peninsula. Very rare view with great detail. The collotype is an antique printing method that produced incredible detail and beautiful tones. It was originally mounted by the corners to gray paper in the portfolio. It is still attached, but could probably be steamed off. The print is single-sided (blank back) with wonderful tones and hues. The gray paper is approx 12 x 10 inches. The print itself is page is approx. 8.8 x 6.7 inches, with just a thin white margin. Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
