The 2009 art is hand signed by Nechita, and it is numbered from the small edition of just 195 pieces. This piece is numbered in the lower left 116/195. Alexandra Nechita was born in 1985 in Romania. She immigrated to the United States in 1987 and even at the age of two showed signs of artistic interests. By the time she was only seven years old she was painting in oils and acrylics. Her talent was immediately recognized and her art career started to soar. As a child she appeared on television shows, and was dubbed the "Petite Picasso." Her art shows an influence of Picasso, but she has incorporated different styles into her art, including movements of Futurism, Dadism, Surrealism and Cubism. While she is influenced by the art of many her style is her own. She is collected all over the world and is in the group of the greatest artists of the century...all this while she is just in her 30's. The print is in excellent condition!
