A very good copy,with no wear to the cloth which is very sound.The gilt lettering and vignettes on the spine on front and rear boards are all quite bright. Internally the binding is quite solid with sound hinges,there is a slight lean to the spineThe pages are very clean throughout.No marking or inscriptions etc.All complete and in good order with no loose or missing pages. Very good ninteenth century copy of this classic Victorian children's book.
