Description: This charming vintage set of children's dishes made midcentury by Wood and Sons of Burslem, England, features both alphabet letters and scenes from three different nursery rhymes (Mary, Mary Quite Contrary, Ride a Cock Horse to Banbury Cross, and Old Mother Hubbard). The green letters and nursery characters are bright and show little if any damage. There are no chips or cracks. HOWEVER, the pieces are crazed and I would not use them for feeding baby. That said, the graphics are charming and the set would look great on a shelf! The plate is about 7" across, the bowl 6.5" across, and the cup is about 2.5" across at the rim and 2.5" tall. Please look closely at the photos and email me with any questions. I pack carefully and ship same or next business day from Arkansas with free tracking. Satisfaction guaranteed or money cheerfully refunded.
