Description: Hosted by Dick Bartley, who started as a radio disc jockey in 1969 and retired in 2022, American Gold was a Saturday night oldies show since 1991 in the same vein as Dick Clark's Rock & Roll Remember and Solid Gold Saturday Night. These are 4 hour shows featuring songs from the 1960s and early 1970s. The first two hours typically feature an artist or group from the oldies time period. As far as I know, the discs have only been played during the broadcast and 1 other time to test their condition.
