Allen & Co 1908 (This is probably ca.1930s) The Racer was the top of the Flexible Flyer Line This is the Child's model with an Oak deck and steel runners Everything is original to the piece Measurements: Sled: approx. 29in.L x 19in.W x 7in.D Runners: approx. 1/2in.W Condition is Used The steering handle has pre-drilled holes for a steering rope Deck has a couple of surface cracks (nothing bad) Metal Runners have some surface rust (wax with a little Paraffin and you should be good to go) Graphics Paint is a little faded American Rocket Racer Logo can still be easily read I displayed it in my office. (It’s a large, attention getting display piece with lots of vintage character)
