Description: Ames Tools Promo Belt Buckle 1909 North Pole Discovery Vtg 1983 Siskiyou ...a very cool old promotional commemorative belt buckle, by Ames Tool Company, for the 1909 discovery of the North Pole by Robert E. Peary. This is Limited Edition buckle, serial #3531, a heavy silver tone metal buckle with darkened accents, made by Siskiyou Buckle Company in 1983. It is in pretty decent condition, as shown in the photos it does have some wear and tear from age or use. This buckle measures approximately 3-1/2" x 2-3/8", it fits a 1-3/4" wide belt and it weighs about 7.1 oz.
