Description: This is a rare autographed May 9th, 2014 program (playbill) from the three-night, National Tour engagement of "AN EVENING WITH PATTI LuPONE and MANDY PATINKIN" at the Cultural Center at the Masonic Temple in Scranton, Pennsylvania. (The Original Broadway production opened November 21st, 2011 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre in New York City and ran for a limited engagement of 57 performances.) ..... Conceived by MANDY PATINKIN and PAUL FORD, the concert starred PATTI LuPONE and MANDY PATINKIN, both of whom rose to stardom more than thirty years earlier when they starred in the Original Broadway production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical "EVITA". The show included musical selections written by STEPHEN SONDHEIM, RICHARD RODGERS and OSCAR HAMMERSTEIN II, JEROME KERN and JOHNNY MERCER, FRANK LOESSER, JOHN KANDER and FRED EBB, VINCENT YOUMANS and OSCAR HAMMERSTEIN II, MURRAY GRAND, JULE STYNE and STEPHEN SONDHEIM, ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER and TIM RICE and HOWARD ASHMAN and ALAN MENKEN .....
