Description: This stunning mold illustrates the birth of Christ and the Adoration of the Shepherds. The skill of the carver is evident in even the smallest details. Two donkeys look on at Jesus, Mary, Joseph, and two shepherds. A small lamb lies at the foot of the crib. Master carver Hans Neff created the original mold in 1985 in pear wood, with influences from an antique mold. The photos show the actual mold you will receive. The mold was a sample in the factory. It was never used for baking but was handled, resulting in a few surface scratches on the perimeter (outside of the design area). These are cosmetic scratches which do not affect the carved design area of the mold or the prints that it makes. Use the Zoom feature to clearly view the close up photos of the top and bottom of the front of the mold. Size: 7.1" Anis Paradies molds are hand made in Switzerland. They are made of food safe, waterproof resin and may be soaked for cleaning. Sadly, the manufacturer no longer ships new molds outside of Switzerland. Resin reproduction of the original wood carving.
