Description: Nice antique composition German Mallard Duck on platform Putz figure in great original paint, patina & condition. This is a really nice larger than normal example. The duck is made of the usual composition material typical of early German toys. An added feature is that the duck has wooden legs that are morticed through the wood platform.The condition and paint on the duck is excellent and is easily free standing. This duck is faintly marked Germany on the bottom of the platform. This larger than usual platform mounted duck is about 3" x 3 1/4" high.
