Description: For sale is a superb cup made by Meissen in about 1750. It is hand painted with a really nice large scene to the front of a couple by a column in a landscape surrounding. A single flower to either side of the handle, a floral arrangement to the bottom inside, gold trim to the edge and some fancy gilding to the handle. A very nice quality piece! Sadly no saucer :( The cup is in superb condition with some wear to the gilding along the top edge. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark as well as a letter H. in gold and an impressed number as shown.
