Description: This is an Antique 18" Floral Motif Metal Toleware Tray. This large tray measures 18" x 13 1/2" at the upper edges of the tapered side panels. The flat bottom surface of the tray measures 15 3/4" x 13 1/2". The depth of the tray is 1 1/2". The tray is made from a nice heavy gauge steel and it weighs 1 pound and 12 ounces. The tray has beautiful hand painted flowers in soft, muted colors. The sides have open work designs with an opening as a handle at each end.We do not know the age of the tray specifically but it is thought to likely be old enough to be formally antique. Condition: The paint on the tray has light to moderate paint loss. The black paint on the back has heavier paint loss and scratching consistent with normal use and contact with various surfaces over a period of perhaps quite a number of years.
