Description: This is an Estate Fresh old Coin Silver Big Serving Spoon from about 1820-1830. This beauty is 8.5" long has a typical Early American Handle end and a beautiful Rattail Attachment, like the early spoons usually had. This spoon was made by Benjamin C Frobisher as is marked on the back of the stem handle. It does have a monogram of what looks like MNW. The spoon is in really nice condition for its age and was well loved. It weighs 48.41g, a good heavy piece that 200 years old!!
