Description: Up for sale is this great piece of railroad and local Western Massachusetts history. It is a plan for the West Acton & Littleton Road over the Fitchburg Rail Road. You'll have to do your own research to confirm this, but I believe this may be what is presently Route 27 in Acton, pretty much where the Commuter Rail stop is today. As an odd aside 10 years ago before moving back to Connecticut and getting involved in antiques I worked no more than 1000 feet from there. It measures about 16 5/8" x 10 3/8". It is on pretty thick paper, backed by linen. It has been folded for many years, so it will take some effort to straighten out. Please note the toning & staining.
