The Footed Victorian Clock is Made of Gold Gilt Cast Metal with 'Child Playing Flute' on a Footed Marble Onyx Base with Open Face White Porcelain Dial with Roman Numerals. The Clock Sits on a Carved Wood Base with Victorian Oval Glass Dome! The Clock is Not Attached to the Dome Base, and Sits Freely on the Base. The Clock Itself Measures approx. 11 1/2" Tall x 9 3/4" Wide x 4 1/8" Deep. The Glass Dome with Base Measures approx. 16 1/2" Tall, with a 14 1/2" Wide x 8" Deep Base. The Movement is a Signed S. Marti et Cie "Medaille de Bronze" (1869-1889) Round Brass Mechanical Wind-Up 'Time & Strike' Movement with Brass Bell Chime. There are Two Winding Arbors on the Dial, and It Includes a Winding Key and Long Brass Adjustable French Pendulum. This Clock Ticks and Strikes Correctly, But Only Runs Briefly and Will Need Adjustments or Attention to Work Correctly, Sold As Found! This Has Not Been Serviced, and is Being Sold for Parts, Restoration or Repair with Great Potential!!! The Clock is in Good Cosmetic Condition, and Has Had Prior Restoration Work and Repairs.
