Description: Hampden 18 size 23 jewel adjusted New Railway antique pocket watch. Movement is a very high grade 23 jewel adjusted movement with gold timing screws, jewel settings and a beautiful gold jeweled barrel. Movement runs and seems to keep time but I have not checked itover a long period. Dial is the original Hampden bold Arabic railroad style dial but does have some hairlines. Nice hands. Case is a screw back and bezel nickel silver case in good working order but does have some and dings in the back. Very attractive and high-grade railroad pocketwatch. Serial number 1150331 circuit 1898 making this watch over 125 years old.
