Description: Approx 7 1/4" tall on a wooden platform with tin wheels and a loop for tying a string to pull. Platform is 12" long, which is as long as the lion. He is made of leather over paper mache and has glass eyes. He has real fur mane. He even has a growler, which sounds more like a duck call! But he does work, which is amazing for being at least 134 yrs old. The platform is slightly bowed, the leather has damage on his right front shoulder and the tail is torn across the top, but attached. Both issues are an easy fix for the right buyer, or acceptable as is. Very unusual and even though unmarked, I am certain he was made in Germany.
