Description: Antique 1894 Sterling Silver Vesta Case With Original (?) Matches. 1-3/8"W x 2-1/8"H. Weighs 34.5 grams. Fully hallmarked. It has English sterling silver lion marks on the case as well as on the bail. It was made by Thomas Acott & Co in Birmingham in 1894. It snap closes and opens with great spring action. Monogrammed RW. Minor dents on the bottom corners. No other dings/dents. No split or repair. Engraved flower and leaf motifs. Nice!
