INFO PULLED FROM THE WEB BELOW.... From vintagemachinery.org....catalog from 1912 tells you that you have a 4" stationary Eclipse series bench vise from the Charles Parker Company. That vise has the solid steel strengthening bar welded to the top of the slide, rendering it much stronger than a normal 4" vise. That's a nice vise model, even though you have to cut a notch in your bench to mount it properly. -PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT WHEN YOU PURCHASE VINTAGE ITEMS, THEY MAY NOT BE PERFECT AND DEMONSTRATE CHARACTERISTICS OF AGE AND/OR USE.-ITEMS FOUND AT LOCAL ESTATE SALES HERE IN NORTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA. -ITEMS ARE SOLD AS FOUND.
