These clubs were actually banned in 1921, largely because they helped an American, Jock Hutchinson, win the British Open. ••Overall condition is excellent; shaft is straight; head is tight; shows minor wear and dings. Grip is original smooth leather. J. W. Brine was a well-known Boston athletic supplies company; Brine is still in business and best known today for their lacrosse sticks and equipment.
