Description: This antique light fixture is an EXTREMELY RARE lighting piece from the 1910s-1920 era boasting a magnificent Art Deco Victorian Nouveau style. This smaller to medium-sized Semi-Flush light is adorned with gorgeous etched Deco designs of the era on a stunning two piece Caramel colored Carnival Glass that shimmers pearlescent colors, and still has the original brass/copper mounting base and socket original to the light. The fixture was updated with new wiring and ready for immediate use. This Antique Original fixture is perfect for those who appreciate the beauty of the Art Deco period and want to add a touch of rare history to their home, or where authenticity in a restoration is an absolute must. CONDITION- The light is well over 100 years old but in overall beautiful antique condition. There is some edge chipping around the fitter lip and a few edge chips on the lip of the larger slip shade that slips over the primary middle shade. (NOTE- this fixture is 3 pieces total) there is the primary center shade, the larger dish slip shade that slips over the center shade and the fixture base itself. The fixture base looks to be copper/or brass and has a stunningly gorgeous original patina. The 3 thumb screws are the originals and the threaded grommets are still in great condition. The base has a few scratches but no denting or dings. There are natural air bubbles and minuscule natural glass striations/imperfections from the making process of the glass. MEASUREMENTS- The fixture holds one regular sized bulb and is smaller to a medium size. 10 1/4” inches Tall x 7 3/4” diameter at the larger slip shade.
