Description: [zipedit] ; ITEM TYPE: beautiful flapper purse of 1920s era,enamel design on the mesh exterior. MAKER/MARKS: I could not find any markings as to maker. DIMENSIONS: approx 4 1/8" wide at the top frame, approx 6" long, not including the clasp or chain. CONDITION: Beautiful condition mesh itself, the enameling on it is worn in some spots....It seems to have been applied to all mesh spots along the bottom tiers, but is more spaced (and therefore harder to tell about whether missing or just never applied) as you go up the purse... See all photos..The peach satin interior is good, and has a round, vintage mirror in the pocket (beveled mirror cloudy and not very usuable, but present!) Cool souvenir of a bygone era!
