Description: This toy steam engine belonged to my late father-in-law who was born about 1900. Some years ago while visiting him he brought it out and asked if I would like to see it run. Of course I did, so he put some fuel in the underneath fire box and water in the tank and soon had it chugging away. It hasn't been run since then. I'm now older than he was at that time with no grand kids to pass it on to, so am hoping to find someone who would like to see it run again. The engine water tank doesn't have the sight gage and I don't believe the pressure valve works properly. The screw lid for filling the water tank is a little loose and the sealing washer is missing. I can't remember if we tried the steam whistle or not when we ran it but the control seems to work ok. The fuel reservoir that provides the heat source underneath is included. All moveable parts move freely.
