It features a slightly gathered neckline with metal snaps on one shoulder. A large satin yellow bow is secured on the left shoulder. The short sleeves are finished with a band of yellow silk ruffles. The dress features a drop waist and falls just below the knees. Two rows of ruffles matching the trim on the sleeves are approximately 5 inches above the hemline. This piece is in good condition considering its age. There are a few areas where the silk has begun to shatter, mostly around the neckline. There are also a few stains on the material as pictured.
