Description: Here for auction is a very interesting piece. I believe this to be and early childs treen whistle. At first I thought possibly a duck call but it sounds more of whistle than any duck. Well made of wood with a reed and it does sound when blown. Measures just under 7.5" long. On the bell is written Blown By Jamie-June 1934. Has what appears to be its original tassle. No cracks to the wood. It does not appear to be made by an amateur as it quite refined. Super wonderful and quite early childs toy whistle... I offer this as found and as shown and have done my best to describe it. Please read all of my description and look at all of the images as they are an important part of the description.
