Description: Antique 1987 USS Truxtun CGN-35 XO's Hand-carved & Painted Presentation Plaque. The carved, painted insignia measures 8" x 6.25". The hard wood base measures 9.75" x 12". The personalized brass plate measures 3" x 2" and is legible. The USS Truxtun served the Fleet during the height of the Vietnam and Cold Wars and beyond (1967-1995). Pics were shot with and without a flash. Overall, the piece is in fair to good vintage condition...the paint is clean, but there are notable age/handling scuffs and nicks as the pics show.
