It will add more to the shipping but that is the reality now. Thanks. Fresh to the market from a prominent San Marino/Pasadena family in a huge 1930 built mansion. The woman who had this was the first female mayor of San Marino CA and a major philanthropist. Beautiful 19th century French bronze-mounted Sevres style porcelain lamp. With raised gold-scrolled foliate designs with hand painted polychrome enameled flowers bordering cartouches of courting couple on one side and landscape to the reverse, artist signed, Dantey (?). Very good for age with appropriate surface wear. Small scratches on front bottom and back as shown. No chips, cracks or repairs under uv light. Some gilt wear to porcelain along with paint. Gold gilt to bronze gone. Not examined for mark under gilt plate cover under base. Measures about 37" from base to top of finial. The porcelain itself is about 24" tall and the bronze base is 2 1/4" tall x 7.25" x 7.25". It weighs 17 lbs before packing. I will remove the finial to make it a little shorter for shipping. Items I sell are not new. They have been used so do not expect mint condition unless otherwise noted. Measurements are approximate and may not be totally exact.
