Description: Refurbished Antique 19th C. Henry Troemner Philadelphia Victorian Apothecary Balance Scale. Henry Troemner produced scales until his passing in 1873. This has been refurbished with sanding, rust stop spray, black paint and highlights with gold based on photos of a good condition similar one. The brass weights and bowl dish are not original and added to enhance the look. It is made with heavy cast iron, original brass parts, ruler, brass plaque and the original Bakelite? Solenoid? Gauge. It is approximately 10.25” long, 7.75” tall and 3.25” wide. The original tray on the right is 4” in diameter and the original four arms that hold the brass bowl are about 3.75” across. The brass bowl included and not original is 3.25” in diameter’s diameter and .75” tall measured at the outside rim. Includes 7 weights in grams. 1) 20, 2) 10 , 1) 5 , 2) 2 , 1) 1 grams. It has been left with some patina on the brass to show age.
