Description: Lovely Victorian papier-maché snuff box. Inlaid with large Mother-of-Pearl tablet. Interior lacquered a deep red color. (Historical note: Slight traces of snuff in corners!) Bright brass hinge and lid are both secure; lid closes neatly. Shows slight scuffs and signs of wear, but in excellent condition for a collectible that was in daily use over a hundred years ago.
