Description: I am selling the Antique 19th Century Fireplace Candle, Taper, or Match Box.It measures 6 7/8" wide, 5 1/2" tall, and 3" from front to back.The box is made of brass with a hinged lid and a hook, so it can be hung to the wall if desired.The box has been polished recently, but still shows it age with the patina on the bottom, back, and inside (see photos).The box is heavy for is size and nicely made.It is antique, but in good shape with no problems.
