Description: This is a handsome antique brass and iron pierced fender standing trivet. In the 19th Century it would have been hung on the fireplace fender to keep the pot or kettle warm. It is approximately 12.75 inches in length and it 5.25 inches wide. It stands 5.75 inches tall. The trivet could be polished to a shine if desired and it has a beautifully carved wood handle.
